What We Believe

A short summary of the foundations of our faith. Below is the church's full confession of faith with Scripture references.

  1. 01

    Holy Scripture

We believe that the Bible, the Holy Scriptures consisting of 66 books, is the inspired and infallible Word of God, given to people as the supreme authority in matters of faith and life.

  2. 02

    One God in Three Persons

We believe in one God who exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit — the Holy Trinity.

  3. 03

    The Purpose of Human Life

We believe that the chief purpose of human life is to glorify God, to have joy in fellowship with Him and to live according to His will.

  4. 04

    Humanity and Sin

We believe that man was created by God without sin, but through disobedience fell into sin and came under its power. The sinful nature spread to all humanity, and every person needs salvation.

  5. 05

    Salvation by Grace

We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace which a person receives through faith in Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice. Salvation cannot be earned by human works or personal merit.

  6. 06

    The Church

We believe that all true believers in Jesus Christ make up one spiritual Body — the Church, which manifests itself through local congregations of believers.

  7. 07

    The Great Commission

We believe that Jesus Christ commissioned His Church to proclaim the Gospel to all nations and to bear witness to Him until the day of His Second Coming.
