Vitaliy Chernyshev
Vitaliy Chernyshev was born and raised in the family of a minister of an Evangelical Christian Baptist church in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, Ukraine. He was baptized at the age of 15. From that time on, God drew him into various kinds of ministry: preaching, music ministry and evangelistic events.
In 2012 Vitaliy Chernyshev was ordained as a deacon in the Transfiguration Church in Kramatorsk. In 2020 the church elected him to serve as pastor. Throughout these years he was actively involved in the life of the church: he preached, served in the music ministry, worked at Christian children's camps, provided pastoral counseling and helped people displaced from the occupied territories of Ukraine.
In 2022, because of the war, Vitaliy left Ukraine and moved to the United States. He is one of the founders of Slavic Bible Baptist Church (SBBC). Since November 16, 2024 he has officially served as the senior pastor of SBBC, continuing to serve God and the church with devotion.

- Vitaliy is married to Diana, with whom he walks the path of family life and service to God. Together they are raising three children.
- Education
- Vitaliy holds a bachelor's degree in pastoral ministry from Irpin Bible Seminary (Irpin, Ukraine) and a certificate in Biblical Counseling from LOGOS INSTITUTE Ministry of Theological Training at Grace Community Church Ministry (Kyiv, Ukraine).
