Prayer

Prayer plan for the week

Family unity begins with unity with Christ

«Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.»
Psalm 127:1
  1. Monday

Love for God — the foundation of a strong family

    Key verse

    Matthew 22:37–38

«You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…»

    Reflection

A strong family does not begin with favorable circumstances but with each person's personal relationship with God. When Christ holds first place in the hearts of husband, wife, parents and children, love, peace and unity become the natural fruit of the Holy Spirit's work. The closer we are to the Lord, the closer we become to one another.

    Prayer needs

    • That every member of the family would love the Lord with all their heart.
    • For a hunger for prayer and for reading God's Word.
    • That the Holy Spirit would change our hearts every day.
    • For protection of the family from temptation, spiritual coldness and the influence of the world.
    • For the physical and spiritual health of everyone.
    • That the Lord would bless our homes with His peace.
    • That the whole family would live for the glory of God.
  2. Tuesday

Children — a heritage from the Lord

    Key verse

    Proverbs 22:6

«Train up a child in the way he should go…»

    Reflection

The greatest desire of believing parents is to see their children following Christ. We cannot walk this road for them, but we can bring them daily before God's throne in prayer, entrusting their hearts, future and calling to the Lord.

    Prayer needs

    • For the salvation of every child.
    • That children would accept Jesus Christ as their Lord.
    • For strong faith and love for God's Word.
    • For protection from sin, false values and bad influence.
    • For wisdom in studies and in choosing a path in life.
    • For honor toward parents and love for the Church.
    • For God's protection of the children's health and future.
  3. Wednesday

    Unity of spouses and family

    Key verse

    Colossians 3:14

«And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.»

    Reflection

Love is shown not only in words but in daily forgiveness, patience and care for one another. When spouses seek God's will above all, the Lord strengthens their union and helps them overcome every trial.

    Prayer needs

    • For love and mutual respect between spouses.
    • For a spirit of forgiveness and humility.
    • For wisdom for parents.
    • For peace in the home.
    • For the family's financial provision.
    • For good health for every member of the family.
    • That Christ would always remain the center of the family.
  4. ThursdayToday

    Gratitude and trust in God

    Key verse

    1 Thessalonians 5:18

    «Give thanks in all circumstances…»

    Reflection

Gratitude helps us see God's hand even when the answers have not yet come. It strengthens our trust in the Lord and reminds us that He remains faithful in every circumstance.

    Prayer needs

    • For a thankful heart.
    • For peace and joy in the Lord.
    • For trust in God in trials.
    • For a good outcome in matters of documents and all official affairs.
    • For God's guidance in all of life's questions.
    • That the family would always glorify the Lord.
    • For the ability to notice God's blessings every day.
  5. Friday

    Holiness and spiritual victory

    Key verse

    1 Peter 1:15–16

    «Be holy, for I am holy.»

    Reflection

A holy life begins with the daily choice to follow Christ. The Lord gives strength to resist temptation and to grow in obedience to His Word.

    Prayer needs

    • For purity of heart.
    • For victory over temptation.
    • For protection from spiritual attacks.
    • For the filling of the Holy Spirit.
    • For faithfulness to the Lord.
    • That children and young people would keep their purity.

    • For pastors, ministers and missionaries.
    • For those newly converted to Christ.
    • For peace among brothers and sisters.

    • For God's guidance for the new week.
    • For health, peace and protection.
    • For blessing on work, studies and ministry.
    • For wisdom in every decision.
    • That the Lord would open the necessary doors.
    • That our whole life would glorify Jesus Christ.

Closing prayer

«Lord, we dedicate our families to You. Teach us to love You with all our heart, to live by Your Word and to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Bless our homes with peace, unity, health and spiritual maturity. Keep us from temptation, strengthen the Church, bless our children and lead us in Your perfect way. May our lives and our families always glorify the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.»
